Below is the Training Matrix of what your recruit will be doing during his 13 weeks of boot camp. This list is pretty general (And it covers MCRD San Diego as well as MCRD Parris Island), but it really helps you understand what your recruit will be doing each day he is in boot camp. It's also fun to print it out and mark down days too!
Helpful Hints:
○ Your Recruit will be placed in his platoon and introduced to his DI's on the first Friday that he arrives (known as Black Friday)
○ The only "free time" your Recruit will get is at Chapel on Sundays. Sunday is also one of his only times to write.
○ For Phase 1 and Phase 3 (Blue and White) your Recruit will be training at MCRD.
○ For Phase 2 (Green) and the Crucible, your Recruit will be at Camp Pendleton.
○ Even though he will be at CP (Camp Pendledon) you will still continue to write him at the same address.
